Liverpool linked with shock move for AC Milan star Federico Chiesa

Reigning UEFA Champions League runners-up Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan winger Federico Chiesa, according to Calciomercato.

The Italian international has been in impressive form for Milan since joining from Fiorentina in 2020, scoring 10 goals in 59 appearances for the Rossoneri.

Chiesa has also been capped 42 times by Italy, scoring four goals, and was part of the squad that won Euro 2020 last summer.

Liverpool are said to be in the market for a new forward, with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino both entering the final year of their contracts.

Chiesa would be a good fit for Liverpool’s style of play, as he is a quick and skillful winger who can also play as a striker.
