Fallout Co-Creator Tim Cain Sheds Light on His Departure from Interplay

Tim Cain, the original creator of the Fallout series, has opened up about his departure from Interplay in a recent vlog.

Cain, who was the lead programmer on the original Fallout, left Interplay in 1998 to co-found Troika Games. In his vlog, Cain reveals that his departure was due to a number of factors, including creative differences with Interplay's management and a desire to work on new projects.

Cain also discusses his time at Troika Games, where he worked on the critically acclaimed RPGs Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. Cain left Troika in 2004 and has since worked on a number of other games, including Fallout: New Vegas and South Park: The Stick of Truth.

In his vlog, Cain expresses his gratitude to the fans of Fallout and says that he is proud of the work that he and his team did on the series. He also hints that he may be interested in working on a new Fallout game in the future.
